ᐃᓂᓃᒧᐏᐣ (Swampy Cree or n-dialect Cree) is an indigenous language spoken by the Swampy Cree people mainly in northern Manitoba and northern Ontario. Today, the Cree language (which is comprised of many dialects) is spoken across a vast territory in Canada, Primarily in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec. It is also spoken by Cree communities in the United States. With approximately 96,000 speakers, Cree is one of the most widely spoken indigenous languages in North America.
